Received my RCT-450 Skyshark mostly assembled in a full sized carrying case with the stock motor and 40 amp esc. It has a full cnc aluminum head and tail assembly that is slop free and well machined. The frame is a composite, the Diablo is carbon fiber. It also comes with a fiberglass canopy, plastic canopy, three hex head wrenches of good quality, thread lock, pitch gauge, K&B tail blades and extra screws and balls.

I went through the entire helicopter, used thread lock on all metal to metal screws. I used Hitec HS 65hb servos on cyclic/collective, GY401/9650 for the tail, and a Futaba R146 PCM rx. For the battery, I am using the Air Thunder 2200 lipo.

The helicopter was easy to assemble and adjust. One adjusted, the first hover to check blade tracking and trim was uneventful. The blade tracking was spot on, I had to readjust the ele servo link as I could not trim out a backwards drift. Once that was complete, and decrease in gyro gain resolved a tail wag.

Trimmed out, the helicopter is very stable in hover, and is quite controllable even in 10+ mph wind. I'll get back to you on forward flight as I am not good enough to give an evaluation as of yet.

The included tools worked well, and the case will hold the fully assemble helicopter and tx, but you do need to remove the canopy, but there is a spot for the canopy. I also have the case configured to carry my Falcon 3D.

My only grumble is the included fiberglass canopy does not fit right, but is might just be an anomoly in this particular canopy and not an indication of the quality of all fiberglass canopies included with these helicopters. The plastic canopy fits fine.

This is a good helicopter for intermediate to advanced pilots. Beginners can use it with caution, it does have a lot of power and can be a bit much for the uninitiated.
Hits Misses
• Exceptional fit and finish.
• Head and tail assemblies are slop free and do not bind.
• Comes with carrying case and tools, good value.
• Fiberglass canopy supplied in my kit does not fit well, but might just be an anomoly
