It looks like my Raptor 30's tracking problems are solved. I replaced the bearings in the grips: both the radial and thrust bearings. One of the radial bearings was a little "sandy". I also replaced the feathering shaft but the orginall looked pretty good. After 4 tanks of gas, some sustained inverted hovering (first time for that) and some high altitude auto's (first time for that too), it looks like the problem has been solved. Thanks to everyone who has helped me over the last year tracking this down. Now I can finally get on to the real fun stuff.

Ask Troy, same thing happened to me. When I finally replaced all the bearings in the blade grips and the blade grips, the problem went away.
My bearings did not feel notchy but I replaced them anyway, I did not feel like messing around any more.
