Hey there,

Just curious if anyone out there has a precision palm size heli and what they think about it and its flyability. Any feedback would be nice>

Thanks

I was looking at one of those myself for flying around indoors on a rainy day. Personally, I think they are a bit too pricey for what your getting. I'm not to crazy about the fixed pitch either. Maybe if Align were to come out with a sub micro Trex I'd go for it!

Helihobby has the Pixie Zap 100 http://www.helihobby.com/html/pixy_heli_microheli.html I figure if I have that kinda money laying around, I'm investing in a raptor even though you can't exactly fly it around in your living room or can you................mmmm

OK so very, very cool. My biggest complaint about the Precision was the fixed pitch. I look at the Dexterity3D and see everything I wanted after scrutinizing the Precision. Even shows it coming in an aluminum case ( way cool). Do you have one or know where to buy one? The Blue Arrow web page does not seem to have a place to purchase the little heli, ( unless I am overlooking it right know)??

The Pixie Zap is pretty cool too, but I figure that is not much smaller than my Blade CP. I find it interesting that it has a belt driven tail though, maybe something else to dream about playing with.

Thank you both

One place I found googling it was, http://www.helihobby.com/html/dexte...helicopter.html

As for that case, it's the same case the t-rex "kit" comes packaged in with a different name plate. I don't have a d3d though I think they seem cool but, um, kinda fragile. There is a d3d pictured in issue 6 in one of the coverage reports.

Hey, very cool again. I actually just found it on HeliHobby's web page last night. Decent price. I would of thought the little heli to fragile of a thing too, but one of my kids got one of those radio shack toy helis for Christmas. She is ten and with no experience with this kind of thing at all. Needless to say she crashed it quite frequently. It held up very well, surprisingly. The light weight seems to help keep it from damaging itself in the crashes. I would imagine (other than blades occassionally) the same would apply with the dexterity. I think I am sold on one if I ever get the chance to buy one. Still flying on my Blade CP radio for now, but have my eyes on a Futaba 9CHPS Super synthesized transmitter and a crystal for my Blade CP.

Hey have you ever ordered from Helli hobby, just curious how they are for ordering online??

I've been ordering from them off and on for about 3-4 years now. I have never had any problem with them at all.
Some of the other forums do a pretty good bashing of them, but they seldom say why.
They seem to carry a pretty good stock of parts for just about anything out there and their prices are decent too!

Thank you again

Its always nice to have feedback on a company before the first time you place an online order. I figured as much anyways, they do seem to carry quite a bit lending to the idea of them doing decent business wise.

i have owned a heli-max novus cp for about a five weeks, fully 3-d capable well built little bird. a couple of crashes in the grass have resulted in no damage yet ( i am not a 3-d pilot ). the novus is real sensitive to inputs, but flies quite well. the only complaint is the motor driven tail, it doesnt quite perform as well as a belt drive . on a scale of one to ten, one being the worst... i give the novus a solid 6. its a little pricey, but it does come with a six channel 2.4 gig radio.....my two cents.
