howdy, on my GV-1 it can conrol the mixture servo, just a couple of questions. I bought the adjustable mixture needle from O.S.

1. the o.s. instruction book for the adjustable mixture says the needle should be out about 1 3/4 turns but i find the engine (50-SX) runs much better around 1 1/4 turns out. any ideas which I should do?

2. Secondly as the throttle increases the govenor moves the mixture servo, which is what I would expect, what I don't know is if it should be making it more rich or leaner as the rpm's go up, which should I have it do?

3. moving the throttle up and down fully causes the govenor to adjust the needle about 1/4-1/3 of a turn altogether (just a guess looking at the range) is that ok?

Thanks a bunch

Scott

I'm not familiar with the gv-1.You never want to run your engine on the lean side, PERIOD!
Better to run it a little bit rich than a little bit lean. Your engine will thank you. :)
