has anyone tried the airtronics 94761Z micro servo ?
does anyone know of tail servo mount that would
fit a 15MM dia. boom? i would like to put a 9650
on but can't find a mount if this is not possible i
am thinking of trying the airtronics.

Check this site out, I dont know what heli you are putting it on, but this may help :) I have one of these ordered from RediHeli and expect it next week, its going on my T-Rex 450SE, the idea is to get the servo back as far as possible so she doesnt become tail heavy!! :(

it would be going on a caliber 400 basically
same size as trex just made by kyosho.
it is a little beefier

Hmmm not sure probably the same talk to Mike @ Trueblood, he is very helpfull and will assist you :) They are a great servo , but, big and heavy are you using a GY 401 as well??

No :( because I'm in Aust- he cant send direct, (probably some contractual arrangement) :(
So John @ Rediheli is getting stock in, and will send to me when they arrive, meanwhile T-Rex is in a lot of pieces on my dinning room table, looking very sad :(
But time will fix him :)

blax1 i was not sure if you were asking me
or not but i am using a 401. i do have actually
have a perfect spot to 2 way tape a 9650 on
the side the guy at kyosho turned me on to
that but i'm not fond of taping more than i
absolutely have to.

I use that servo on my Trex and its just as good as the Futaba 9650. Its smaller in size, closer to the size of a Hitec HS65. I also used one on my Cali 400 but I had to modify the mount to make it fit. Don't ask me what i did cause I can't remeber and I don't have the Cali 400 anymore to look at...lol :D

fasrc thanks for the reply the mount for the cal 400
you probably had to open up the length 1mm i have
an xtra 1 with me this morning to check the opening
to the size of the airtronics.i feel more comfortable
knowing someone else has used and are satisfied with
it before i spend the 65 $$.i think thats what i will do
today.
