RC Heli magazine is your source for good gossip, and here's proof. Danny Szabo and Thunder Tiger have officially had a parting of the ways. Danny is no longer on Team Raptor, fueling speculation about a possible 30/50 and 60/90 helicopter coming from Align RC, makers of the popular T-Rex. Nothing is official, but some industry insiders tell us that Align is currently developing both a nitro powered 30/50 and 60/90 helicopters. No official word from Align, although they have acknowledged a 30 and 50 size electric coming this spring. We'll keep you posted.

There are also rumors floating around the forums that ThunderTiger is unveiling a 400 size electric Raptor to compete with Align's T-Rex. I know Raptor fans, including myself, are very eager to see if this is true or not.

WOW, why go through all that trouble!!!! There are some really nice nitro models already out there. LOL. Nice conversion though and cool find axis.

Any updates on the 400 size Raptor? Availability? Any plans to do a review in the mag if the rumors are true?

No more info on the 400 size Raptor. It looks like the rumors may have been just that, rumors. More likely, the rumor was somewhat true just not correct, as Thunder Tiger is releasing the 50 size E-Raptor very soon.

BTW Mike, if you need an experienced team of electric Raptor guys to do the E-Raptor review, you might be able to talk my team into it. ;)
