Jollyroger-

Just got G3 last week and I will have to say that it is a bummer that I didn't purchase it back when I started. The progress I have made with orientation alone has been worth the $200 and then some, since I have spent more than 2 bills fixing my heli after becoming disorentated and slamming it into the terra-firma. This product is addicting and I find that I spend all of my down time flying the sim when I should be working on the honey-do list...much to my wife's dismay.

My question to you is what upgrades will we see with 3.5?

...just took a look at the link you posted and answered my question. Looks good. Can't wait!

I'm glad I could be of some help. If you have any problems or questions with g3, it's a great forum to find out. I post there as Jolly Roger also. enjoy all! BTW, night flying is too advanced for me to, but i look forward to it anyway. Maybe if i can fly at night, it will be easier to fly during the day, lol :D

Have you guys seen night flying in person? I've seen a couple of night fly shows at some fun-fly's I went to and I'd have to say that orientation at night is TONS easier. I haven't tried it myself, but just from watching it looks to be easier. Just be mindful of the ground! Some of the guys were even doing night-time auto contests and it was tough for them to gauge where it sat down, but noone crashed as a result!
