Reflex XTR is the best in physics that I've tried. It also comes with Raptors that act very close to the original. Still tweaking to get that feel for the altitude, but still very realistic.

I wasn't that impressed with RealFlight so I did some hunting around and found Reflex XTR. It uses your transmitter, instead of the cheesy thing that RealFlight provides.

One tip: take out your RX crystal when using for the sim, and you're battery will last a lot longer!

I am new at this but I've heard that XTR has compatiability issues? If that is so, are they easily fixed?

Remeber when someone starts into this hobby they may not have a TX yet. Therefore that gives Realflight an advantage over the competition. I personally use RealFlight G2 and have got some time on G3 at a friends and found it totally awesome.

I have also used Reflex XTR and Aerofly Pro. I like RealFlight G3 the best. Just my 2 cents.

I used to use G2 and it was more like a video game then a decent simulator. I haven't had chance to use G3, but I see a lot of people are content with it.

I personally use Reflex since it has certain constraints that fall in line with the real world. The pilot's position can be fixed as though you're actually at the field. You can change the field of vision to that of the human eye. Also, with the many parameters in the program you can custom tailor each model and the environment to get it damn near reality.

With Reflex, if you want to invest the time you can capture your own flying field into the program.

For excellent flying Raptor models try: http://www.rchelicopterweb.com/Simulators/Simulators.htm

I personally love flying his R90. It flies great as is or you can tweak it some more.
