hi all

I finally decided to go with a govenor and in the manual it gives dimentsion for mounting the magnet for a 60 size engine and one for a 30 size engine but not for a 50, anyone know where I should put it?

Thank you!

First of all, what model and engine are your putting this on? Second, what governor are you using?

I'm not familiar with the GV-1, but if it has a choice of 30 or 50 in the manual, use the 30 instructions. The fan should already have holes in the bottom for the magnets. You will have to drop the engine if you haven't done so already to install them.

A really good tip is to drill a very small hole through the fan where the magnet goes to allow excess epoxy and air to escape when you press them in. Use the 30/50 size mounting bracket for the sensor and leave about 1mm spacing from the magnets.

You need to install 2 magnets for balance. Make sure they are oppisite polarity. If you only have 1 magnet, fill the other hole with epoxy.
