Tomato sauce is what we use on spaghetti and many other things, but on the other hand... tomato sauce on a hotdog doesn't sound to bad, add some beans and a little chili powder.... Yummy :D

Cavan is the male (left) he is a black lab 1 year and 2 months. He came from Connecticut. Ciara is the female (right) she is a black lab & golden retriever she is 6 months. She came from Arkansas. The found her mother on the side of some interstate after a storm. Made her a good home.

I can tell you this, at least what many of the locals in South Eastern Connecticut have told me.

The "Submarine" sandwich theory that it's origin is from Groton, CT, is false. Sort of.
And this is contrary to the wikipedia article you link to.

The "GRINDER" as what they are called there, is said to have originated in NEW LONDON, CT, just across the Thames River in Connecticut. (Literally the other side of the river :D)

You will see signs in New London that state "Home of the ORIGINAL Grinder" and stuff like that.

As you live in Vermont, both you and I know damn well, that a Grinder and a Sub sandwich is about the same damn thing.

I'm jealous!!!!!! Besides helis, hunting is the next best thing. I went for deer, and elk this year. I shot a 3 point buck, and was SOL on elk, but its all about being in the Mountains.
In Oregon we only count one side of the rack, it would be considered a 6 point in some other states. Tell Brad great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

It would be pretty hard going carrying one of those out of the hills on your own. What the meat taste like. (now please don't say chicken :p ) We don't have them here but we have hundreds of deer and few pigs to hunt. Infact in the south Island Deer really bought many many helicopters into the country to help hunt them, Really big many moons back, some towns you go through here you would think there more hughes 500s than people :D mind you half the population were probably killed off in the helis anyway.

Rappy1 no carrying here 4 wheeler with a winch and a trailer. Brad used the tractor to bring it to the truck. The meat taste like chopped beef or 85% hamburg, we also make steaks and sausage with it. Excellant if you don't like your meat like leather.:D

that is a small buck ,,, 1 of twin bucks born this year my pets watched them from young in spots and small forks now hope they make it though deer season and come back at 2 years they should be good size .... thier dad is a 8 pointer but to smart to hang out 5 feet from the deck .... i woulder why :rolleyes:
