T-Rex 600

Hi,

My 600CF has around 50 flights on it and so far it has been great. I havent had any issues come up with my kit, very fun to fly and very stable in the air.

I am switching to a Castle 85HV ESC this week though, there have been a few reports of the stock ESC flaming out, and while many of these cases probably boil down to user error (over amping the ESC) - I dont want to chance it. That being said, mine has been flawless so far.

I am very pleased with the heli, but if any long term issues arise - I will update the thread. My opinion for now is to get it and try it out:D

Hey there guys,
I was just curious to know what Li-po battery are you using to power the motor.
There are some reviews on the Align Battery for the TREX but they dont seem to hopefull.
Could anyone give me some suggestions as to what battery would work the best. "Cost is not an issue, but performance is!"
P.S. I'm thinkin about getting the Flight Power Evo lipo but not sure!

Hav only 8 flights on mine and 2 evos, 1 tp5000, 1 align 4400.
my packs are not broken in yet. i have noticed that the tp and evo packs stay a lot cooler even though im ringing the bird out more with the evo and tp packs.

my friend who has flown a lot more than me (has a camera ship and buisnes) had noticed a drop in power already in the align 4400 packs (he has two and two evo packs).
