Hello everybody

I've been lurking here for a few weeks and decided tonight to register and make an appearance. I've always wanted to get into rc helis, but the price was always a deterrent and the fact that any hobby store that I walked into immediately did what they could to talk me out of buying a helicopter.

I recently was training a new guy at work, who is heavy into rc boats. This got me thinking about getting a helicopter again. The main difference now is that a person can educate themselves about this hobby with the internet.

Last week I recieved my Hirobo Sky Robo and I have been having a blast with it! I was hovering the first night and actually flying it the second night. Nothing fancy, but I was managing controlled flight ( and some uncontrolled flight also :p walls and kitchen cabinets come up on a person fast )

I just ordered a Trex 600 and I am excited. I should have it this Friday. My little Sky Robo just doesn't cut it for outdoors use. I hope I don't bother you guys with all the silly questions I am sure I will be asking. I have a lot to learn.

Anyways, this seems like a great site with a lot of knowledgeable people and I hope to be around for a long time.

Steve

Yes welcome! :)

I to would be interested in hearing about any feedback you could share on the 600.

I understand that issue #7 has a review on it, but I wouldn't know because I haven't received it yet.

Have a nice day!!! :) :)

I'll gladly share any info I can on the 600. Just keep in mind that I am far from an authority on the matter.

I know one thing, batteries are not cheap for this thing.

This is the combo pack I bought in case anyone is interested.
