I burn PowerMaster 30% heli @ 20-25.00 per gallon. Its twenty from one shop but they run out to often and the other store is 25 and some change and never runs out.
I've been about a two gallon a week habit lately.

I've got a Trex with nuclear batteries. :D

Electrics are just not the same, the smell, the power, sight, and sound of glo is far better than any electric. I love the power and ease of electrics, just plug in and fly, but glo-powered will always be my favorite of the two.

I run Wildcat 15%. It's around $17.00/gallon, but my LHS has a deal. Buy 4 and get the 5th free, so it really is about $13.60/gallon.

It's getting time to switch to the 30%, though. I'm starting to need the extra power.

Morgan 15% Cool Power Heli-Blend. My Caliber 5 with an OS .50 Hyper doesn't show any signs of wanting anything more. I buy it from Tower Hobbies. Regular price is $62.00 a case (4 gallons) + 20.00 Hazmat charge is $82.00. With the coupons they give out - you can end up getting it for around $17 - $18 a gallon delivered.

Just out of curiousity, what's the shelf life on nitro fuel before and after you open it?

Good question, helifino.

I'm not really sure, but I think if you keep it air-tight, it will last a long-long time. I'm burning more than a gallon a week. No worry about shelf life here. :D
You must keep it closed up, nitro-methane sucks the h2o out of the air and will go bad.

I am running Coolpower 15%, the green fuel because the Coolpower pink fuel has castor and I like straight synthetic oil. Fuel prices are about $17.95.
