I tried my first hover tonight, brought the rpm up slowly as it got lighter it wanted to favor a side compensated for that with the ailerons but here's the thing when it got real light it pull (slide) across the floor but aileron didn't fix it ?

Not sure what kind of bird ya got, but most will tend to favor one side right at liftoff, the strange thing is that sometimes countering the movement will make it worse until the birds on it's own wings. I notice this a lot with no rubber on my skids on a slick concrete floor. It will almost make it slide the opposite way I input. Once it's in the air, does it still favor the one side? If it's too much for your trims on the radio to take out, check the linkages to the swashplate and turn the long one in and the short one out a turn. When I set them up, I fly them, trim it, then take it home to make the mechanical adjustments so I can leave my trims centered. That's just my anal-retentive nature, though. Hope it helped!

If your talking about one skid coming off the ground before the other just before hovering, than thats normal. All heli's do that including real ones. It has something to do with ground effects and will be fine once you are out of the ground effects range. Smaller heli's are more prone to ground effects compared to larger ones.
