Ok heli-cuzz :)
I will give it a go, in the last issue # 6, there was a mini review of a new Raptor E620SE electric Heli, I’m sorry I do realise you are right into nitro heli’s, but I was just wondering if you or any of your club members have had any experience with this new chopper, it certainly looks good a paper, but I’m interested in the reality, the new T-Rex 600 seems to be under a cloud at the moment, and Thunder Tiger Heli’s do have a great reputation, I would appreciate your thoughts on this subject and obviously anyone else as well. :)
Cheers Ralph

Hey blax, I love electrics too, just love nitro that much better. I'm familiar with the Trex450 as I do own one of those. I have a blade cp from e-flite. The blade is what I initially learned to hover, that was in my dining room. The blade is a good starter heli, it's tough at times, it flies well with the stock set-up or you can give it a boost with a 11.1 li-po. Another club member owns a logo10, that thing flies awesome, just don't like the logo canopy. I don't know anyone that has either heli you mentioned, I've yet to see the Trex600 in person.

All the hype about the T-rex 600 coming out and I haven't seen or read anything on it yet.
Looks like ace hobby is going to be selling the electric raptor, I'm not sure when it will be available. http://www.acehobby.com/ace/raptor_El.htm

Hello Heli-cuzz
Thanks for your reply, at the moment I’m into electric heli’s simply because I fly at home, I have a small acreage in the bush with some cleared paddocks etc, but I do have neighbours relatively close by, so I don’t wont to upset them with the noise of a nitro bird, but I‘ve got to say I would love one and maybe one day if I join a club I will purchase one, the Raptor electric heli- just looks great and would suit my situation at home, I just thought that maybe some people at your club may have had some experience with one , Thank you Helifino for the link you sent as well I’ve been doing my home work, but it will be a total upgrade for me , I will need new batteries, charger, and radio gear as well, because I run DX6 on my T-Rex and they say that is the largest heli that you should fly with that system, which is a shame because I love it 2.4 GHz is a terrific system. So as you can imagine it’s going to get expensive. Thanks for your help and interest.
BTW Heli-cuzz, In some thread I told you I had ordered servo’s and a gyro from Advantage Hobbies, well they have arrived, so my upgrade is about to begin on the Rex, I will keep you posted. :D
Cheers Ralph

They say the spektrum is good for 40 sized electrics and smaller.
