Just recently bought my FIRST heli....T-Rex 450XL HDE. I should be able to start this weekend. Wish me luck and I am sure that I'll be seeking build advice from you all as the build progresses. :o

Good luck, you will like the t-rex. When it comes to the Trex visit the www.helifreak.com web site, lots of support, even build & set up videos.

My Trex is down for a bit. Need to replace the servos, they have about 250 flites on them, they're doing things I don't want them to. The Trex is a rocket ship heli. You can throw this thing around the sky with no trouble or get into trouble and throw it into the ground too. :D
Good luck with your Rex :)

I’m hoping to receive my order from the new “E” hobby shop Advantage Hobby, in California this week. :D
I’ve decided to upgrade my T-Rex with a S9650 rudder servo, a GY401 & a set of HS65MG’s for the swash should be interesting setup, I will report back when I sort it out and let you know how she goes, should be great fun!! :) I will get some photos!! Every time I try and send photos a message comes back file to big :( , any ideas on the one for me?? :p
Cheers Ralph

Thanks for all the response. I will no doubt be asking for some more assistance as the build continues. So far all that I have been able to do is look at the parts...too busy with the "honey to do list" :o ......I should be able to start this weekend, in the mean time...more time on the SIM
