I'm a little disappointed RC Heli (and Extreme RC Car) and MIkeV weren't there...in fact, they were the only magazine that wasn't there...

Hey MK,

We were there just didn't exhibit. Because of the small number of notable companies not exhibiting this year we made the decision to not exhibit and use those funds for better use to our readers. The number of helicopter companies of significance on display was very, very small. Of those that did display there will be coverage in the issue we're working on right now. If we see that more companies will be exhibiting next year we will be there to exhibit. We will cover the event every year and have for the last 12 years or so.

I completely understand...the lack of companies exhibiting was dismal, at best. I just wanted to drop by and say Hi and tell you what a great job you and boys are doing...

You should have had a booth, especially since you were there..........you would have made one heck of an impact....at least in the heli world. You guys could have really shown your dedication.

Jim, my company has exhibited there for the last ten years. I disagree on the impact that it would have. To me, a much more impactful statement is having a radio controlled helicopter magazine that's available on newsstands across the country, over 4000 newsstands monthly. Before RC Heli there was nobody that could come close to making that claim. The hobby has a legitimate monthly magazine promoting the hobby every month on all these newsstands. RC Heli gets in front of more people on any given day of the month than attended the ihobby show. I don't mean to beat up on the show, but I would much rather invest the funds on newsstand promotion, and attending fun flys.

Very well said, you are a man of experience, and it shows. I do understand your point and I agree w/it too. I guess I just missed saying "hello", and then you handing me a free t-shirt.............. :( , (and no, your not a jerk). :p
