After reading the review in R/C Heli I picked up a Caliber 700. I wanted something larger than my 500, but not as large as a 600 in electric.
Assembly was very easy although very different with the two stage belt/gear drive.
This machine is a little odd-looking, but does it ever fly well! Not a hot-rod like my Atom but very smooth and surprisingly nimble and very graceful in flight (I like it much better than my Trex 600E).
Anyone else flying one of these?

I fly the nitro version. Thanks for posting the info.
Ah Clem, I like it better than your Trex600e too. :D

Hello Schluterdude!
Sorry, it has been a while. I don't get over on this forum too often-I need to correct that.
I hope you are doing well.
Heli-Cuzz,

ROTFLMAO!
I am starting to wonder if I am one of the few who bought one of these. This is the smoothest machine I have ever flown and I have been flying since 1976.
Its not the quickest, but it is the smoothest.
One of the quietest too!
Hey Ah Clem, good to see you’re still flying. I was looking for you at the Compass booth at IRCHA show. Their booth was directly across from the RC Heli Mag booth. It’s good to hear that you’re still a Compass Rep. I’m seeing a lot more Compass helicopters around. There are a couple of Knights and a couple of Odin 90’s flying at our field now. I’ve flown the Knight, Atom and Odin and they are all great helicopters.
The Heli-Baby ended up getting a Century Swift head conversion and is now a great flying helicopter in almost any wind condition. I still bring it out every once in a while.
Don’t disappear!

Dan,
Good to hear from you sir!
Glad you are still flying the Helibaby.
My Helibaby is still sitting there in deplorable condition.
I just picked up a Trex 450 Pro, so I will be playing with that for a while.
The Cricket is still hanging there, waiting for me also.
