I was wondering if anyone here has heard of an issue dealing with the RCE B6T govenor for the T Rex 600 nitro pro. I have a futaba 10 channel (10CHP) and whenever I set my govenor mode on my switch the top position is set to 0% than middle at 50% and than I want to go to 100% but the govenor LED turns from green to red past 50%??? I tried swtiching all the positions and re calibrating my govenor and nothing changes? And I notice when the govenor is set at 0% the LED is still on (green), isn't the govenor supposed to deactivate at 0%(turn Red)? I tried it in Idle up 1 and 2 modes but still no change, at 50% my O.s hyper 50 is at 15, 500 rpm but it seems quite boggy when doing any 3d at all, and I will tell you what comes as a real shock as you think your heli is at 100 percent while your inverted and all of a sudden your motor starts bogging down as you give it more negative pitch, lol. all is well as I landed skids down :) . Please try and help me out as I have no clue what to do now , my throttle servo is a Hitec 5475. thanks.

G'day Novarossi, someone here will have an answer to this, I don't use a governor so I cant help with regard to set-up.
RCE B6T is an Align glow ignition/voltage regulator not a governor as such, this much I know, I use one.. :)
He's talking about the little Align governor - one came in the Trex 700 kit I just built (not for me) and I put it on the 700. I did not set it up but it's working real well. It's in series in between the throttle servo and receiver and has a sensor to sense magnets on the clutch housing. It also plugs into an unused AUX channel and the headspeed is set with Travel Adjust. But I didn't get into the blinking light stuff.
I have a T-rex 600 Nitro Super Pro which came with that governor. I like it so much I put one on my Vision 50 also. The key to making it work is making sure the magnets are properly installed on the fan and that the sensor is working. You rotate the engine by hand after it is installed and make sure the green light on the unit comes on once a revolution. If the light doesn't come on or comes on twice one of the magnets needs to be turned over. One magnet needs to have the north side up and the other the south side up. My magnets were not marked so I needed to stick them together so I could mark them. Remember that opposites attract when you are marking them.
When I installed the one on my Vision 50 I used the Spektrum engine sensor on the back of the engine instead or the magnets on the fan. That also works great but you need to buy an adapter or live very close to cbflys in order to put them together.
I love the unit, it was very easy to set-up and I adjust my head speed while flying. You just need another person to aim the tachometer at the helicopter.
I set my govenor mode on my switch the top position is set to 0% than middle at 50% and than I want to go to 100% but the govenor LED turns from green to red past 50%??? I tried swtiching all the positions and re calibrating my govenor and nothing changes? And I notice when the govenor is set at 0% the LED is still on (green), isn't the govenor supposed to deactivate at 0%(turn Red)? I tried it in Idle up 1 and 2 modes but still no change, at 50% my O.s hyper 50 is at 15, 500 rpm but it seems quite boggy when doing any 3d at all.
I couple of things that I would check are the travel adjustment set-up on the governor. Review the instructions on that. Check your RPM with the governor off and make sure you can get 2100 RPM of head speed without the governor just in case it's an engine tuning problem and last but not least your settings should be around 85% in normal, 92% in idle up 1 and 95% in idle up 2 to start. Then use a tachometer to arrive at your final and proper head speed. Chuck, help me out here, I also had a switch enabled that needed to be inhibited in order for the idle up settings to work. Chuck found that for me. I'm using a Spektrum radio and I'm not knowledgeable about the Futaba so that is all I can offer.

Thanks for the help guys but I did figure my problem out on my own, I made a mistake by not paying attention on the controller to when my govenor comes on, the govenor wouldn't come on because the default on the controller was set to only allow the govenor to kick in if the throttle cut was engaged? Oh well I set everything around now and I am getting full rpm and head speed as well as a fully functioning throttle cut, so all is well. I know the govenor is supposed to kick on around 30% throttle but mine comes on a little later like at 40-45%. I don't think that is too much of a big deal since my pitch is 0 at half anyway. Thanks for your guys input and help though it comes in handy a lot.

an easy fix is the best kind of fix!
9 times out of 10 it's a pain cuz you're thinking WAY to hard... or, at least, that's what happens to me...
