Hi guys,
I just got this in the maiil today from tower and I followed the instructions to the T, as soon as I pluged in the battery the blades started turning full speed, would not stop the heli went into the flower bed and then smoke starting coming out from the receiver and the motor. Needless to say the blades broke with some other parts, the receiver is melted and the + and - wires from the motor melted off. Any ideas of what could have went wrong? I called Tower and the can not help me and when I called Venom they are closed until Monday. Thanks in advance, DJ

I would say that you got a defective esc or reciever, either way venom should take care of you. Was your radio on and at zero throttle? if you where in 3d mode with the throttle stick all the way down then that meant you where at full negative pitch and throttle.

No, everything was set exactly how the manual said. DJ

As someone above mentioned, contact Venom. They are very responsive.

It is a good little machine. I have had one since late December and I really like it.

first i want to apolagize for my 1st remark we had some
serious problems with 2 helis and my wife almost
got hit the first time the second time in a hobby shop
we plugged it in and it went nuts we had people diving
on the floor and hiding we had to get a hold of the boom
and while crawling on the floor get arms under the blades toget it unplugged.
anyway it was the reciever both times it literally melted down
i hope you got it fixed and have a better experience than
we did
