Let me start off with a list of equipment I have/am using:
Lipo Pack: Air Thunder 25C/5000 mAh/6S1P/22.2V
Lipo Charger: Thunder Power TP-1010C
Lipo Balancer: Thunder Power TP-210V

I've followed the directions very closely while charging up my lipo packs. I have one lipo pack in particular that doesn't seem to want to balance out.
After charging for 45 minutes +/-, the balanacer keeps flashing the #1, #3, #4 and #6 cells. If I'm understanding the directions, these are the cells that are out of balance. I disconnected the charger, leaving the lipo pack connected to the balancer to balance out the cells. After an hour I still have the same cells flashing at me. Am I missing something or do I have a bad lipo pack?

It's got some problems but leave the balancer on and let it do its job. I've let packs balance all night only to look at them still going at it in the morning. But they do balance out, eventually. Then I recharge them as they are down a bit and balance them again. It doesn't take the same length of time. And they are still working.

Good news folks. I left the lipo pack on the balancer for a couple of hours and she was good to go. I charged it up and she was still balanced.
Thanks for the advice. Sometimes all it takes is a little more time.

For the first few cycles try charging them at lower amps. It seems to break in lipo's solid. Even though lipo's (have no memory), it does help, and I cannot tell you why. . . . .It just keeps the life of my lipo's longer. I remember reading this in one of the UK mags I bought and tried the theory out. Have done this ever since. Good luck.

I do the same thing. First three or four charges on a new lipo I do at 1/2C. Haven't had any problems.

+1.........

My Kongs are 15 months old, prolly 1000 flights on each now, yes I know people are gob smacked when I say that :D I still get 6 min flight times in normal, TLC is the answer, dont over discharge, remember the 80% rule, and let them cool off before charging.
