New update released:

PhoenixCreator version 2.00.a BETA

The new version of our PhoenixCreator tool for extending Phoenix is now available from our downloads section.

This version adds the ability to create your own flying sites for Phoenix from a cubic panorama and to add lighting and weather conditions, collision and water, then export to a format which can be used directly in Phoenix and shared with your friends.

This update includes a user-manual which contains a basic tutorial to get you started.

Please note - you should have at least version 2.00.n installed before downloading and installing this update.

New Features

• Create your own flying sites from cubic panoramic images
• Add lighting and weather conditions
• Add collision geometry and set material properties
• Add water to your scene
• Export to Phoenix and share with your friends

Bugs fixed

• Many issues with general program usage resolved from version 1.x

Oh boy! The 2.00n version does not even work correctly.....:(

Improvements

• Optimised collision object rendering
• Ability to hide collision objects
• Added edit-mode for collision areas, skylines and height-maps for faster, simpler editing and more options
• Add second-view for Pano and Top-down views for easier collision adding
• Improved water handling and masking
• Added Reset Camera menu option to place cameras back to default positions
• PhoenixCreator now warns if you attempt to export a new flying site without adding the "default 1" start position
• Can now delete points from areas using middle-button

Bugs fixed

• Now handles files with uppercase file extensions correctly
• Issue fixed with painting onto model after importing from an external image editor
