I just figured I would let you guys know that one of the Pantera guys came up with a easy gear swap out for the Pantera so you can run 80's and 91's with a high head speed.
It is using Raptor 60 spur gear and a Raptor 30 main gear. Here is the info on making it http://www.vimeo.com/1445553 Parts are just under $25 shipped from HeliProz.
I have my parts headed this way as soon as HeliProz and the mailman can get them to me. I currently have a YS 91ST in my Pantera running the standard 8.7 gear ratio. The new gear set will be 7.8 ratio.
I still have not flown with this motor yet. (Trying again after supper tonight) I had my Pantera ready to try out Sunday but then I had a lot of drag on the clutch that I did not notice so I could not get it running. After I gave up on flying and I came in and found a Email with this info from the President of Audacity Models. :D I think their will be at least 4 of these at IRCHA with 91's now.
Here is his post if anyone wanted to see it http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t450164p1/ it even has a video. Sorry for the off site link, but there are some good vids.
Well I will catch all of you over at IRCHA in a few more days. You can come check out my bird, but the way I fly you better come look at it Thurs. LOL
