NE Pa. Swetland RC Flyers Open House

Hi to all heli pilots. My rc club is having an open house tomorrow, Sunday, June22, 2008.
Anyone with ama is welcome to come and fly or just spectate. There will be planes, turbine jets, and the best of all, Helicopters. We also have an oval paved race track for ground vehicles and a monster truggy/buggy supercross style dirt track.
We are relatively a new club with 25 members now. I would love to see more helis than planes as there are less than five members that fly helis at my club. It should be a good turn-out as other local clubs should be attending.

If you have pictures of the event can you post them. I've been tied up at work this weekend with all the storms and not been able to get on the computer at work due to power outages, and the freakin LOTEM. Had "IT' there all day today to try and boot AUTO COUNT. Freakin meatheads.

It was a great turn-out and the weather was perfect all day log despite what the weatherman had said. About 100 people showed up with about 30 registered pilots.
It was a big mix of aircraft from a auto-gyro, turbine jets, planes, foamies and the best of all, helis!

I went through one gallon yesterday despite a crash during an auto skid slide attempt.
No damage besides a bent spindle, quick fix and a lucky me. :D
