OK, a couple weeks back while flying the Ecureil when exiting a loop the tail elevators started fluttering real bad. Anybody else see this yet.. the body is the pre painted TT. the thing is awesome and it has a ton of time on it.. I think I am going to try and get some type of carbon rod thru there to help suppport it until then NO more loops..Head speed is pretty high 1950. she runs smooth no vibratons..
Thanks

Well, First off you are flying SCALE!! NO MORE LOOPS!!!! The Tail fins will flutter under the higher speeds .. they were not intended for this. Scale flight is a nice calm gentle smooth flight! Try flying real slow circuits keeping a constant speed throughout the intire flight .. nice and slow, same ground speed upwind as downwind ... sounds simple enough? try it! Then Practice until you can fly your complete SCALE pattern nice and slow, Once you get that down put a flybarless head on it and get that flying the same way. Thats what Scale is all about!! Enjoy your self and have some fun!!

Dr. Tim you are exactly right. While flying demos we try to mix it up a little and the loops and rolls just blow peoples minds. I am working on a slow inverted piro... We have some really nice slow scale take offs and circuits.. But when they give you five minutes to burn you start getting creative.. I found some left over carbon rod i will try and reinforce the stab so we can keep WOWing the crowds..
