Is anyone running the Duralite batteries on their 50s? 4000 mah, 5.3 v reg faster servo snaps... A whole package from Duralite with Voltmeter is about 200 bucks.
I'm interested in these things, after reading the Product Scope they seem to be the way to go over the NiCads.
Any opinions?

I am running that very setup in my Evo 50. LOVE it, I have been using Duralites for 3 years now with great results. You can get about 12 flights out of a 4000 pack on most 50 sized helis. Duralites support is very, very good as well. Go for it!

Nice, an Evo 50 is most likely what it will go into, I have a powerful lust for that heli.
I'll probably use the stock battery with the Tx for a while and then drop the 200 for the Duralite equipment the next paycheck after I get my setup.

That's awesome, 12 flites in between charges. I run my 50 on a 1200mah nimh and peak it out after every tankfull. It peaks before the engine cools down, about five minutes.
I'm gonna ask santa for a duralite set-up with my new 90 sized heli. ;)

If you look on my post on strange crash, you will find out 200$ is a small price to save the day. My crash due to using a 1200mAh in a 50 size heli (leading to a heading hold gyro losing its mind) cost me about that.
Well worth the money IMO.

I'm running the stock 1000mah battery pack that came with my Futaba in my Sceadu 30.
I have it hooked up to the Hobbico VoltWatch2, I had it in the danger zone once. :D
At best I could maybe top 3 flights, but that would be pushing it.
Here is my flight from today:

Ahh duralites Pricy but well worth the cost. As the guys at my field say, a duralite a day will help keep the crash bug away i've got the system in my RappySE 50 i can about fly all day on a charge :D (Nitro)
