I don’t quiet agree with you conclusion that the Freya Evo 90 is too stabile, a heli can’t get too stabile, never.

I think that one of the amazing things about the Freya is that you can develop your skills with it, with the basic setup(manual setup) you get the most stabile flight, and that great if you new at heli flying or just want to feel the heli the first time you get it in the air.
And if you have need to get a wild write you can change the setup and get a hardcore 3D bird, that a great feature if you ask me, this is just my opinion.

Some times a review of something will do anything just to find some negative stuff about something, but you don’t HAVE to find something negative to make a good review.

I like the magazine it great, I just don’t agree with just this one point in you review.

Any body else with a Freay 90 out there that don’t find this bird too stabile ? :)

I gave the Evo nothing but thumbs up on about everything. Its a great heli. BUT it really is super-stable - and while you can make it 3D really well - it wont 3D as well as a Fury, Avant, etc. - It just wont, the way the head is designed is for stability, and the Evo is far more stable than the birds I mentioned above - thats the trade-off.

You cant have it all, The Evo 90 is great in that it will 3D very well, but is also very stable - but everyone who flew it during the review remarked that it is not as nimble as an Avant or Fury - but will fly straight as an arrow and hover like an FAI machine - much better than the Avant or Fury in that regard.

I didnt look for negatives, but for someone looking for an all out competetion 3D bird - the Evo 90 would not be my first choice - but for someone looking for the best value in a 90 heli out there that will do everything from FAI to 3D, it would be my first recommendation. Its an awesome heli, and I stand by what I said, it is soooo stable (which is great for me) but the 3D pros in my club all agreed the same - you trade some nimbleness for that stability - I have yet to find a heli that can be the extreme at both ends. That being said, I would rather have an Evo 90 than an Avant for my style - it suits me very well.

Okay I see you point, and I agree, I haven't tried the Fury and Avant yet, and my flying isn’t that insane yet, but when that time come, I think I will change the head on my Freya and then I am ready for the hardcore 3D. :p

And change it to some CCPM too, well we all have a dream. but for now, I am more then happy with the Freya as it is, out of the box. as you are too I can understand ;)

Thanks for you view on this.
