I'm actually doing really good with the CX2, the rest...eh, doing ok. Some handle better than others. I do "ok" with a little Fury helicopter I downloaded. The rest I end up crashing, even if I can hover for a little bit without to much going haywire. Cant get the hang of the airplanes either.
I dont think I'm cut out for airplanes, but helis I'm slow but sure with. Might hold off on the Blade 400 for a bit, and get a CX2 for now. I know I'll crash that, but on the sim I've only crashed it once...and that was because I ran into a chair :p
That's GREAT Musicman72 sounds like you're improving :D
Sorry heliguy87 for hijacking your thread. :o

That would be awesome Julie. Not sure how we'd get a dedicated server, maybe Troy or someone would know better than me. It would be cool though. Maybe we can all just schedule a time to get together on a hosted game or something. I'll be the one flying the CX2!! haha.

i can get my trex 450 inverted sometimes, but i usually wreck. you might catch me flying a big aircraft though, such as a bomber

Rashadow, do you have a router/firewall at your house? such as a linksys?
I didn't have to open any ports on my to play multiplayers, its still stock. Just make sure internet is selected and not lan when you search for servers.
We should setup a weekly day/time for only sim. It be quite fun I think.
To me planes are alot harder on the sim if you stay at a fixed point, but then again I don't play on 20" screens either. They get real small real quick on my screen:P But planes are boring to me, real life and on the sim. I do want a foamie though for indoor flying, that does look fun with the throws setup massive;)

hey heliguy, yea i`m running linksys in my house, my kids have a puter too.I`ve tried to open the ports so i can multiplay( had i guy try to explain it to me ) but i`ve never been able to pull it off......like i said not that computer savy..........oh well, still enjoy the sim. I have managed to pull off a split screen with my other controller, but i have no one else to fly with here.............

Depending on your version of router you could go into the port forwarding section and find the thing called "DMZ"..
enable and enter the IP address of that computer, it essentially puts that computer outside the firewall. I wouldn't leave it like that, but if that doesn't let you play online then its something on your computer(firewall on the computer?)
Anyway, if you want some help getting it working let me know.

if its a linksys its just type in 192.168.1.1 in your browser..
user/pass is admin/admin by default, you can/should change it.
Great that you got it working, I never use the windows built in firewall on my PC's, but then again most of them I run linux on which is a whole other animal:)
Will have to fly sometime!

as far as i can tell it was just the firewall that was holding me up. that was my first on-line multiplay fly. i went to join in the multiplay box and just joined a random "room". haven`t joined a specific person or place, unsure as to how to do that. looking forward to it though, i`m sure i can muddle my way through it.. lol
