Just about any of them. Depends on what kind of commitment you want to make, how much money you have to spend, how far you want to take it. We need more information than you've given us.

Sorry to hijack your thread Kuk, but it seemed pointless to start a new one that would be almost the same.

I'm looking to purchase a 400 size copter, and from my research a T-rex seems to be the way to go. I currently fly a picolo FP and a co-co lama2. I like the pico, and can fly it in forward flight, but it is just too wind sensitive for backyard use. The lama is great fun indoors, and I can fly the pants off it, but tend to shy away from it in fear of developing bad habits due to its co-co design. I'm looking to do mainly scale like flight, with a scale fuse to be added once I get the feel for the new bird. I'm not too worried about 3D, but that might change in the future, so I'd like to have the ability built in. Also, I understand the physical differences between mechanical mixing and CCPM, but what are the real world advantages/disadvantages of each system beyond the required radio? Money shouldn't be much of an issue within the t-rex range, $40-50 difference in the base kit isn't going to break me, and I'm already planning on buying a new radio since my Pico has a 4 channel.

thanks

mike
