I called my local Hobbytown USA, and they have the Blade 400 in stock, and I also asked about a sim. He said it was RealFlight 4.5, I believe. Its $190 and comes with its own controller. Is that a good sim?? I'm hoping to go get it all this coming weekend, possibly next week sometime, finances pending. I'm figuring since its cold and snowy out, it will give me a good month or so to practice up on the sim before actually flying the Blade for the first time.
Leave me your thoughts!!! I appreciate it

Real Flight is a good one, so is FS1
The thing to be careful of is to make sure that you have the computer power
to run it. Don't look at the MINIMUM specs, look at the recommended specs.
If you find that your computer isn't quite up to the job, then take a look at the Aerofly Professonal. You can find that at ipacs.de
It used YOUR transmitter for the controller and you have to buy their interface cable with the sym
FS1 (is a good one)
no it aint. no way. not for heli's.

Not real sure if the Spektrum DX6i will work with Phoenix.
If it does you can get the Blade 400 and use the DX6i that comes with it on Phoenix.

It does. Plugs right in.
Cool, I didn't want to give any wrong information, I know that the DX6 &DX7 works just wasn't sure about the DX6i. Thanks. :)

If you get phoenix, you'll need a radio. It doesn't come with one, just a cord to hook to your own radio (which will come with your Blade 400). G4 will come with it's own radio and the option to hook your own and use it, or fly split screen with a friend, or enemy, or family member. ;) Not to mention going online and flying. Heck, if you get G3.5 on eBay, you can hook up with your cousin online and fly. :rolleyes: G4 won't work online with my G3. :(
