Just found this looking around for some heli videos.

As a result of this video, if I ever have an electric heli, I'm charging the batteries in a fireproof safe :D

Ouch that sucks i just overcharged a Nicd but all it did was split the heat shrink

I'm curious of overcharged NiCads will end with the same result...

maybe if hit with enough amps im sure any battery will explode to some degree but LiPos are lithium and when lithium hits air ( most likely what happen in video)or water you get that big explosion like seen in the video. Nicads might not be so impressive

Good point, I never considered Lithium's chemical properties.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to explode one just for fun.
