Is it just me or is that thing really hard to do, like actually hover and hold it in position for the time required? The first couple parts you can be cheap and land it in the spot.. but after that holding it in position..

I'm still learning, but after I thought I had a good "feel" and control of it, that trainer just makes me feel like I have no control over my heli.

Is it just hard, or do I have a long way to go before basic flight on the real thing?

It is hard to do. You can modify the Dominion heli with more expo and less travel if you know how to set up the parameters in the menu. It's a bit in depth and I couldn't walk you through it on the forum....just edit the heli and look around the menus and you'll find the expo settings in there somewhere.

Its VERY hard. I did manage to get to level 19 after a long time playing with it. I haven't done it in a while but it did help the muscle memory :)
