Looks like noone's seen anything on a 500 case. I'd have thought WiscHeli would have seen something. I know he's got a 500 as well.

How do you like the 500 compared to the 450?

I love my 500.

I am hoping Align comes out with a metal flybar seesaw holder. I stripped one (the screw cme out with plastic on it) and really messed up my pitch.

I am thinking on selling the 450 because I am using the 3s packs doubled up and do not have extra for fly.

here is my 500 case a bit snowed in now :D b now that Dood came over and helped me with my 500 its flying good :cool: i like it alot more then my 450 that little thing is so twitchy bec its small .. lets say only heli i havent crashed yet is the 500 ,,, got a couple 450 booms flybars and blades in land fill now from the 450 ... :rolleyes: like doob found out my 500 is under powered with only 4S packs only 1770 head speed i am ording 5S packs now 4S is only good for hoving with 17T gear maybe try a 18-19 gear

If you have some 450s, you must have some 3S packs. Wire two of those suckers in series and you have the perfect power source for your 500.

I think a lot of that might have had to do with those being low-quality packs.

I run two 3s 2100MAh 20c packs in series and get about 2200 rpm in idel up.

i am reading 6S packs are hot like 2x3S .2200 . but the 5S is looking good for longer flight time like a 5S 3300/3700 is giving 3D flights and longer run time ... not being a 3D flyer i think it will best .. good power and longer fights ..
