Scranton, SC event coming up in less than 3 weeks. Should be a good one!

Pilots of all levels are invited and encouraged to compete. You don't have to be the "best in the world" to have a great time!

What different kind of competitions are going to be held at this event?

It's an AMA Class 1-3/F3C contest. The sequence of events for each class can be found on the AMA's competition regulations, via their website:

New event added: May 17-18 - NE Ohio Setup Clinic

For anyone who has been interested in traditional precision aerobatics (some call it "pattern flying" or "contest flying"), this will be a great, no-pressure weekend of learning the finer points of machine setup. (Note that this is not a 3D funfly. This event is focused on AMA Classes 1-3 and F3C)

On-hand setup help will be available, along with lots of practice time and seated judges who can evaluate your flight as if you were in a bona fide AMA Class 1-3 / F3C contest event.

Many people have expressed an interest in attending an event that's low pressure, but still gives the pilot chance to see what Contest Flying is all about. Even if you find that traditional precision aerobatics isn't your cup of tea, the time spent learning some finer points of machine setup will pay dividends no matter what style of flying you prefer!

This is sure to be a good event, so make plans to attend!
