Issue 3 ?!? Hell, I still haven't received issue 2. Is there a mailing problem or what?

I think those of us in FL get the mag last. It is coming from So Cal. I'm still waiting in Tampa. I figger I'll get it when I get it. I just hate this bi-monthly business :D

It actually mails of out of MN. If you haven't received issue 2 and you signed up more than 4-6 weeks ago send me an email and I'll send you a replacement right away.

As for Issue 3, here's what's in it:

Tests of the Hirobo Sceadu EVO Alpha Combo, Century Hummingbird 3D Pro, Kyosho Caliber 400.

How-To: Replace Clutch Liners, Everything you need to know aboug Gyros (by Jeff Green), Balance Blades, Charge and use Lipos along with some new 3D moves.

Features: A huge Helicopter glossary, over 120 terms defined, and all kinds of other cool stuff.

Looking at my sub info, it looks like it was mailed on 12-15-05. So I guess I'll wait to see if it shows.

Pretty said that I'll be getting issue #2 just when issue #3 is coming out. You may be getting a cancellation from me pretty soon. :(

Issue 3 isn't going "on-sale" for 28 days, 4 weeks. I'm sure you'll have issue 2 very shortly. When did you originally subscribe? If it's been more than 4-6 weeks then there's no excuse for you having not received issue. Send me an email and I'll fire someone and send you a replacement in the same day. If it's been less than "4-6 weeks" than you have to post on here 500 times that "I'm sorry for doubting Mike and the guys at RC Heli and threatening to cancel my subscription." like Bart on the opening of the Simpsons.

I received Issue #2 just before Christmas day as an early gift subscription.Believe me, if someone ever cancelled my subscription to "R/C HELI MAGAZINE" it would be the BIGGEST MISTAKE they could ever make. It is definately worth the wait. In fact I was just thinking about the new issue comming out while driving home the other day.It is probably better that it comes every other month since there is so much info packed into it. My hat is off to all the crew @ R/C HELI MAGAZINE and please don't stop what you are doing. You can't beat perfection and don't let anyone tell you any different, Beginner9

We just got proofs from the printer, another stellar issue if I do say so. They will mail to subscribers the end of this week.

Official on-sale is 1/31

Issue 3 goes on-sale January 31. We should have a picture of the cover posted in a day or two.

Today, being January 18th, if you subscribe you will be on for the second mailing of Issue 3 which will take place in about three weeks. I would suggest calling the toll free number and emailing over the phone and tell them to start with Issue 4 and just pick up Issue 3 at the local hobby shop, that way you won't have to wait as long.

By the way, that number is 1-800-406-4288.

I'm looking forward to getting issue #3 as soon as my LHS has it. I sure don't envy whoever had to do the HB 3D pro review, know you gotta try in show it in some good light tho ;)

The HB 3D's a nice bird. Not for the faint of heart, it's a hand full to fly, takes some skills, but very capable.

We're all out of those. We're working on silk screened ones that we'll have an ad for in Issue 4. They'll be free, all you'll have to do is send us a SASE and we'll send them out. I'll have more details once they're done.

I just got my issue three today at the bookstore..and wow, another good issue.
I did miss the 1st issue, but I wll probally get aroudn to ordering a back issue......and my loving wife just ordered a subscription for me....YAY!!!

Keep up the good work guys, its a awesome magazine :D

Here is the reply I got from the Service dept:

The Feb/Mar 06 issue #3 has been mailed and it is due to arrive within about three weeks; it takes about six to eight weeks for the first issue in a new subscription to arrive, so the late date is actually 02/27/06.

This seems like a long time. I subscribed around the 26th of Dec. a month before the 3rd issue was to be mailed out and it take the company over 30 days to put our names in the system for the computer to print out a mailing label.

Since I will be moving at the end of may looks like I should put my new address in 8 weeks before the JUNE/JULY issue so I can get it on time..

Hello from Germany, I should have pictures posted from the Nurnberg Toy Fair this time tomorrow. As for your subscription delay, I wish it were that easy. In order to offer subscriptions at the rate that most magazines do, well below the cover price, they must mail together in large quantities. And, for them to go out on time the labels must be generated before the issues are even printed, so thats why it seems like such a long time, if you subscribed at the end of December, 6-8 weeks would put you at the end of February. For a bi´-monthly magazine like RC Heli it means youll have to pick up an issue on the newsstand before your subscription begins. Sorry.

I wont be on much, internet access is hard to come by where im staying, somewhere in Poland, lol. But Ill be sure to have lots of cool stuff to report tomorrow, Nurnberg time.

I have not received mine yet either. Was advised that there was a mailing problem and I should have it in a week or so. Hope so, as this is a great magazine. Hard to see it on the newsstand and not buy it. Although the day I do, mine will arrive in the mail. :cool:

I bought issue 1 in Nov at hobby store and subscribed the middle of December. The subscription card says to allow 6-8 weeks before the first issue arrives. I wasn't sure if my 1st subscribed issue would be 2 or 3. I receved issue 3 (my 1st subscribed issue) about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I then went to the website and ordered issue 2 so I'd have the whole collection (and all the great info inside) I received it Thursday or Friday (very fast). Thanks Mike! :)
