I've heard of using a tether line. Never approved of the idea. I guess that's one reason why.

Most will say they don't like the idea of tethering a heli to the ground. His idea seemed to be working better than I had expected until his anchor came out of the crack in the concrete. :D

I just watched the same vid on heli- cobra, I didn't realise this was the same one, I nearly posted another link too it LOL

You would have to think it would be virtually impossible for anyone to fly a heli-in that situation, was it a 50- or a 90 she was big what ever, Imagine the turbulence in that confined space the rotor wash would bouncing off everything, and the heli would be an uncontrollable beast, even if it did stay tethered, I don't think even a 3D specialist pilot could control a heli- like that, not that I believe anyone else would attempt such a DUMB idea-------He's is one lucky guy

That guy is lucky that he remained a guy after that crash , if you know what I mean . He's very lucky, but all he had to do was use some common sense to know that even with training gear and a string, that little patio wasn't nearly enough space to fly that heli. Some people are just down right dumb.
