I've about had it with this Trex. The more I work on it the less I'm starting to like it!

I had earlier problems with the blade holders(see http://www.rchelimag.com/forum/showthread.php?t=553 for details).

So I figured while I'm waiting for replacement holders to come in the mail I'll go ahead and install the blades that I just balanced(They were WAY out of balance). I put the bolt through and started to tighten the nut. Wouldn't you know that the nut just spins around in the holder. I can't even tighten up the blades!

Is there a lemon law for theTrex? If not I'm writing to my congressman!

In my experience the Trex is a very frustrating model to own.
You have to hold the nut with a wrench or pliers to tighten the blade grips. I thought that would be no brainer.

I was using a nut driver and small needle nose pliers on it to hold it, but once it gets tightened to a certain point, I can't keep a grip on it and it just spins.

Either the bolt is stripped or the nut driver is not deep enough to keep a grip on it.
Use a wrench or pliers to hole the nut.

Sorry, just venting at my frustration over this thing. It seems like there's always something.

once when I faced that problem I resorted to grinding two flat spots on the part of the nut where there its round, as this is the only part that is exposed that you can grip. there may be some issues, but when you get the heli dailed in they fly very well.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. Just seems they could have designed it a little better to prevent that from being an issue in the first place.
