We managed to get a sneak peek of the new Mini Titan SE. Thunder Tiger has stepped up to the plate and put together what looks like a winning combination based on their well received Mini Titan. Using 325mm blades like other popular 450 helicopters, the new Mini Titan SE still uses the same plastic frame with a lowered battery tray to accommodate more battery sizes. But that’s where the similarities end. The SE sports a new motor, full polished aluminum head, tail rotor grips, pitch assembly, and tail drive gear. It has a carbon boom and tail fin, and new light paddles and carbon rotor blades. The canopy has metal posts and a new decal, and the model also has new black landing gear. The performance is reportedly excellent, but we will give you the complete scoop as soon as we can get our hands on one for a full review!

ace has it listed for 679.99 without acc`s. little pricey, but probably worth it since all the upgrades are already there.

I'm a little disappointed that the frame isn't carbon fiber (like the T-rex SE V2) and that they kept the same crappy one-piece landing skids - probably still brittle as can be.

But, I do like the full metal head and tail and the green paddles (got to get some of those).

Hey Mike, I have a tough question for you. How do you compare the new mini-titan SE to the Trex 450 and the other 450 helis out there? Should I wait for the new Bandit from MA? I 'm looking for a stable but reponsive heli that I don't need to go to the flying field to fly. Any help and info. is appreciated! Matt
