Anyone using the HS-56HB for the tail servo on a Trex? Pros/Cons?

I have had the best luck on gyos with the futaba micro servos (3108, or 3110) except for digitals (digital servos combined with a gyro that has digital servo mode is the best). My experience with the hitec servos on gyros has not been great, but others have had better luck. I noticed that I was not able to get a high enough gain to lock the tail, but a higher gain setting makes the tail wag. on my Futaba GY 240, the gain was set to 25-30% on most micros servos (hitec or otherwise) when I tried the first futaba servo on the GY 240, I kept turning the gain up untill I setteled on 75%!!! the tail is the best I have ever had without a digital combo.
note: I have not had any other problems with Hitec servos, in fact I like them for most applications

Thanks! I was looking for a standard(non-digital) reasonabily priced replacement for the HS-50(which I don't care much for).
This piece of $@#% has come apart on me twice already. How much more could it have cost for them to put screws in the thing?

try a Futaba 3108 or 3110. those have worked really well for me on a heading hold gyro, they are cheap, and you won't even need to change servo horns.
Put a zip tie around the hs50, no need to glue it or tape it, and the zip tie can be slid off if you need to work on it then slid back in place even if zipped tight. Check out the servo on the tail in this pic, http://home.earthlink.net/~parrot23/images/t-rex/REX3.JPG

I think I'll give the 3110 a shot, Thanks.
I put tape on the 50 to hold it together for now. I'll try your idea with the zip tie for some added protection, Thanks.
