Think you have what it takes to Rep for Align? They're in search of honest, friendly and talented RC helicopter pilots Nationwide. If you know of any pilots that may be interested in this opportunity please have them contact: kyna@alignrcusa.com

I know for a fact they are not necessarily looking for top pilots. They want to get reps on board who know how to do setup and basics, help fellow flyers, and who know their way around the Align products. ;)

Man I would be a terrible field rep.. I cant fly to save my life and sh!t I have to use a mechanic to keep my stuff in the air. What I could do and would love to do is be a team manager.. Oh man the sniveling I can hear it already. The stinky road trips the never ending trade shows the small funlys all over the country not to mention the big shows XFC and IRCHA. Oh man sounds like heaven to me..

This is right up my alley... I love doing set-ups and love to teach. I sent a message to the above email address yesterday...no response yet.

I would send a full reume. Maybe some shots of your gear your shop and maybe a short video of you flying. The more PRO you come off the more you will stand out. I'm sure that Kyna has got thousands of request. Hell I didnt send a request but some recommendations on some local pilots that have those exact talents (Pro setups, great attitude, always helpful, hates to miss funflys) Think about what a company like Align would want from a rep. Do you want a guy that flys every weekend at his home field is a great flyer and always helping out. Or do you want the same guy that is out making every local event with the same great attitude. I see so many guys with the talents and ability to be great reps ( and so many reps that shouldnt be reps) but those guys never leave there bubble or comfort of the home flying field.. Make it happen boys it would be awesome if someone from this site made the cut. Another huge asset to our community.

Although I am a mediocre pilot (just being HONEST), My mechanical skills are a bit retentive. Digital calipers and a strive for perfection in set-ups hounds me. But as a mediocre pilot, this happens too frequent. I even suggested things to far better pilots and they just look ay me (dumbfounded). They usually come back and say thanks for the tip. Sounds like a good career. HHHMMmmmm.

Mike,
Thanks for the help in our quest for Align Field Reps. As you all can imagine, we have recieved an overwhelming number of responses. As I am trying to go through them all as quickly as possible, I thought I might shed some light on what it is that we are looking for.
As GMONEY already said so perfectly, all too often a pilot will recieve the Rep position when there may be a much better candidate at their local field. I am not looking for pilots who rely on their 3D ability alone. We need people who will help out their fellow pilots with set-up, product knowledge and any assistance they can give. Although it is important that you have some flying skill, it is not the determining factor.
If you feel that you could meet this criteria or would like to recommend someone, please email me at kyna@alignrcusa.com. Please be prepared to supply references, I will be contacting them.

Oh WOW! Did you guys just see what happend? Kyna just dropped in on the web. Have you all been good boys? Have you kept your cool? Have you resisted the temptation to flame another flyer or brand? For you up and comers take note somebody is watching you all the time. Your post on the WWW.COM are recorded for all and for ever. This hobby is very small be on your best behavior if you want to really push yourself to the next level. Kyna thanks for the kind words its rare I get things right :D .

I want to thank everyone who has emailed me in response to our Field Rep positions. We have received an overwhelming response, and it is so flattering how many of you truly enjoy our products and wish to represent Align.
We have filled positions in many areas of the country, however there seems to be a void in the Southwest, Midwest and Northeast areas of the United States. If you reside, or no of someone, in these parts of the country and feel like you would be qualified please feel free to contact me.
Also, does your local hobby shop carry Align products? Know of a hobby shop that should? We are always looking for new hobby shops to stock Align parts!!
Thank you again for all of the great emails, I look forward to meeting all of you at a funfly soon!

It has gotten so bad at my local hobby shop they dont stock the other brands well enough to do even minor repairs.. The align boards are packed and always a fresh supply of kits on the shelves.. You guys at Align have done it right almost to right.. i cant get the parts I need without special ordering... man its time to step up and get one of those 700's..

GMONEY,
Well, I'm sorry to hear that you have a hard time finding parts for other brands. Be patient, the 700N is in development. We hope to have it ready before summer!!

Wisc,
All markets are big markets to us, but we don't own hobby shops. We can only supply to those that already exsist! Fortunately for those of you who live in areas that don't have a local hobby shop, the internet is a wonderful source.

Kyna,
What's the average reply time if someone had e-mailed you?
