that aint no production helicopter.
And ya know, if it wasnt a custom job, you'd see Szabo or JK flying that thing. No one else.

I musta missed it , but was that an ELECTRIC heli? I never saw any smoke.. musta been the long boomed 600 e there is so many "SPY" photos of.

I don't have a 600e, but would a 10s fit under the canopy? There is definately no battery hanging 'tween its legs. Looks like the same fuse size as a 600. Longer boom, isn't that what a 50 is to a 30? Makes sense to do the same to the 600, without redesigning the whole setup. Does look and sound sweet though, but what doesn't when flown like that?! :D

I thought it was an awesome vid with a crazy sound track.
BUT(!) at exactly 3:43 into the vid, did something fly off (separate from) the head?

although on first look it does look like something flew off. when stepping thru the video, it looks like a bird or large bug as it comes from lower left hand corner towards the heli.
very cool
or it was an El Chupacabra

It's official, Align is in the process of developing a .90 size heli. Jason Krause is working on the design n Taiwan as i type.
Although it's still in the early stages, I can tell you this. Expect a completely different machine! This will not be an enlarged version of the 600N. Jason is incorporating some very unique design features and it will be unlike any other .90 size heli on the market.
We are very excited about this addition to the family, it's about time Daddy came home. Look for more news and detials in the next few months and a hopeful summer '08 release.

You say Jason is working on it in Japan. I thought he was working with Synergy?
He flew a Trex 500 at the AMA convention.

Due to many reason Jason and Synergy ended their relationship quite some time ago.
We are very proud to have him as our lead designer and are very excited about all of our upcoming projects. The initial design for the 700 is complete, and we anticipate an early summer release. As more details become available I will be happy to share them with all of you!
2008 is going to be an exciting year for the hobby and for Align.

I cant tell you how impressed by Aligns ability to design and produce so many quality kits and the speed they manage to bringit to market. The new V2 450, 600N and now the 700. Your R&D is totally under paid.. Bringing on a guy like krause with his background in development WOW what a great call. I'm sure we will not be dissapointed in the new helo.

That's awesome. Jason K was the 1st pro heli video I ever watched. He has a great flying style and was a huge inspiration to me when I first got addicted to helis.

That's wierd! It doesn't have any main or tail blades on it! How's it supposed to fly? Plus, the canopy is just see-through. That'd be hard to orientate wouldn't ya think? ;)
