flying time

Hey guys and gals, just wanted to know if anybody knows how long as in minutes does an average tank of fuel last on a heli with a turbine engine? Any information would be helpful. :)

That depends on the size of the turbine, type of turbine (straight geared turbine or geared turbo shaft system) and size of the fuel tanks.

That will usually result in flight times from 6 to 10 minutes.

The Fuel tanks that come with the LM Cobra (Turbine Version) Hold about 64 oz. of Fuel. This gives about 12 to 13 minutes of flight time. I set my timer for 10 minutes to avoid running the turbine out of fuel. Believe me .. most flights are only 6 to 8 minutes... Thats a great deal of Cash and Work flying around and my nerves won't hold out any longer than that! :)
