I bought the same SIM about four months ago....I love it. Great graphic, photo realism at its best in my opinion. I am new to this hobby and can't wait to get my firt heli in a couple of month...guess I will find out then if the SIM has paid off. I am sure it has.

I use G3 but any sim will do one important basic thing teach you muscle memory, the graphics ,photofield, physics are all bling the sim does a great job teaching how to control a heli. i find that my raptor is easier to fly then the sim IN SOME WAYS like depth perception. But without the sim i dnt think i would of gotten off the ground.

I learned on the G-2 and would never have progressed to the stage of flying I'm at now without the sim. Just needed something better than the G-2.
I have a Futaba 9chp.
Does the xtr sim let you use the radio programming or is it a pre-set thing like the G-2 is?

The sim is a must for learning. Imagine trying to learn to fly helis 20 years ago.
