on any digital servo, make sure to set up the end points (directly on the gyro or mechanically for the tail servo) in the case of the Futaba GY 401, the end point adjustment is offered directly on the gyro, if the servo is able to bind at the end of its travel, it will overload the servo and could lead to a failure. sorry to hear your tail servo failed.

I know, I had them set up with a slight gap on each end of the throw, just annoys me I guess. Well back to the hs 50 :rolleyes:
