You said you had no details but I had heard originally that this heli would use two Trex 450 batteries (3S 11.1v) in series. Think it has changed?

I've heard conflicting things, and until I know specifically I'd rather not comment. Should have some specifics very soon.

That looks like a really nice rig. I can't wait to find out more about it. Is there an anticipated release date for the kit? I would think before xmas?!

I read on another forum that it's anticipated to be released by the end of Novemember.
Don't know if that info. is right or not we'll see.

Late November is what we're hearing too.

It's not quite official just yet, but we may have a sweepstakes to win one in the February issue.

Yes, late November is the target release date. Jason and Alan are working very hard and long days to try and get this accomplished.

Until more testing is completed we won't know what size packs are going to be the right ones. Cost, weight and flight times are all crucial components to determine this. Align will go with what best fills all three of these requirements. I promise to keep Mike updated so you can get the information as quickly as it comes in.

I agree, get them both. The family needs to be complete. Think of the nitro as Dad, and the children need their father!

if they do get the 14.8V 3600mah batterys to work we are looking at $80/15c -$160/25c a Pack ... that looks like a good area to be in for a 500 cheaper then the 600s at $150-300 a pack

That would be 2 standard 3s 2100mah T-Rex 450 batteries in series, right?

This question is for all and Mike V,

Does anyone know if Align has made an aluminum flybar seesaw holder?

Maybe you can check withyour Alighn rep.

Also, someone told me that using HiTec 225mg servos has a different control rod length then what is in the manual.

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks,

Michael

No Alum Seesaw yet ... only hear of ..Alum Washout arms .. Alum Tail Assemble and TT so far ..... http://www.alignrcusa.com/

I dont know the HiTec servo Qu?? I use all JR servos I use 16.5mm on Servo arms of a JR DS3421 (swatchplate) the control links for swatchplate/Servos were shorted about 4-5 turns untill the swatch was centered in full travel and level from the lengths given in the manual with servo arms at 90*
