Are there any flight schools (US) for the begginer-intermeadiate pilots?

Well, in a manner of speaking, every fuel manufacturer offers a beginner-intermediate school. Typically, they cost anywhere from $15-30 per "session" (depending on arrangements with local hobby stores), and are sold in liquid form. :p

The Jason Krause/Todd Bennett course is really good, as is the one from Curtis Youngblood. I dont know if either are still doing them or not, but if they are you can get a number of local guys together to help pay for it you can have Jason and Todd come down for a funfly and hold the school the days before the event. Thats what they did here a few years ago and the guys that were in the class really enjoyed it and progressed quite a bit.

But as Shawn said, burnt fuel/electrons is the best course in the end :D

Funny you should mention that, Chuck. My thoughts have been changing about that very thing lately.
