I am contemplating casting my own parts for scale retracts. I have been looking at a lot of plastic compounds that could be used. Has anyone here done any of that or have any suggestions? Thanks

In issue 13, Dr Tim shows how to make molded part out of alumilite. Go see their site www.alumilite.com. It is amaizing what this stuff can do.
I am glad to see I am not the only one trying to keep a Kalt Cyclone flying :D . How do you go about spare parts?

I found a place called smooth-on that has supplies for making plastic parts and have stuff to make rubber molds. Before I make a rubber mold and as I work on the core for the gear, I am going use clay for the molds. I have to check out that aluminite and see how that stacks up. Thanks for the info. I lost that magazine (wife through it out) I thought that it was there.

I can print some parts for you out of ABS plastic :D

You have to supply the CAD files though.
