Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Im new to the helicopter, but im determined to master it. I started with two Walkera 22e's - one for practice, the other for spares - which i soon ran out off and had to get even more bits. I recently decided to stop throwing my hard earned to Walkera and am awaiting the arrival of something with a bit better quality to it. Yeah i know - a bad workman blames his tools, the wifes already let me know her views :( But the 22e would take on a life of its own, poor electronics etc and the final straw was when the tail motor mount flew off if mid flight! must have been a weak joint at the boom. It was one of the most amazing things i have ever witnessed and i dont know if it was sheer luck or not, but i actually landed the main body in one piece.

But enough is enough, so i took the plunge and have ordered the hdx450se and all the other things i think im going to need gy401, hs56's etc. The only thing i need now it a good TX&RX Anyone offer any suggestions?

There are so many on the market its confusing, so far the Spektrum DX6 seems to stand out-good reviews etc, but i would be grateful for any advice.

Thanks

Your best bet is to just surf the forums for reviews and comments about different radios.
I have no brand loyalty I just look for the best value my money can by and that came in the form of an Airtronic RD 8000 from HeliProz for 289 (8 ch radio with rx, batteries, and servos)
you can go to www.airtronics.net and look at the manual to see all of the features and has the fastest response time in pcm mode out of all of the other brands.
