Hey Guys,

Got home from work today and had that itch that we all get so often, yes you guessed it,
lets go hover the heli, well thats what I did; Went to the garage and started the beast up,
the engine started up very nicely, Oh it was purring like a kitten what a feeling, took my radio and my heli in the other hand and went out to the front yard ( got a big front yard ),set her down on the grass and throttled up, halve way through the stick she just lifted like an angel and was hovering 5 ft off the ground, I`m in heaven :D , well did some forward figure eights nice and slow and also did some nose in flying, still flying 5, 6, 7 ft. off the ground, was out there on my second tank when Kaos rode in, my neighbor,
he pulled up in his car and started cheering me off, I wanted to tell him to stop because he was distracting my concentration from my heli which was now about 8 ft. away from me; this is where I messed up, I took my eye off the Helo for 2 seconds to wave him away with my head and came back paying attention to where my helo was, to my surprise when I focused on the tail it was six inches away from my eye at the hight of 6 ft. and coming towards me so I Hit the deck and I thought to myself what the HELI happened  ,
before I knew anything I had hit the elevator stick full forward and yes the helo had taken a dive straight into the ground, the sound was horrible  , I heard something crack, ground, thump, grind and die out (#*&%^#@!&^%$) yes, could`nt help that thought, Before I was in heaven now I was in hell and boy was I mad  , how stupid of me, I should know better
NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR EYE OFF YOUR HELO ,while in any situation, when in flight, it can be deadly.................

Just want to remind all you guys to allways fly safely no matter what situation your in, and yes, SAY HELLO TO YOUR BUDDY AFTER YOU LAND.

P.S.

Downtime Does Suck...........................

Enjoy................................................................................

Well, the good thing is that the heli didn't hit you and you're ok....now you have an excuse to upgrade. :D

on the other hand, I would highly advise you to not fly close to yourself or anyone else for that matter. Try and not fly in your neighborhood either as you never know what can happen if you have a glitch or radio lockout.

Hope that Revolution pipe survived ;)

hey Fas,

Yea, guess I was lucky today, some times can`t help flying in the back yard or front.
Try not to do it in the future.
Got everything ready for the upgrade luckily that pipe was`nt on it, only need the 50 size belt and that`s it.
Was tearing it down after the crash and needed main shaft, one blade holder, feathering spindle, tail boom, blades and a couple of links. Thought it was worse but luckly I had a crash kit laying around. Soon as I get the belt, I`ll be upgraded to a fifty, looking forward to breaking in that new 50 sxh.
Hey man take care, be safe and ENJOY...............................................
