There has been much activity in vairous forums recently regarding the Align 600A Carbon Fiber blades throwing their tip weights. Some injuries have been reported. This does not appear to be an isolated incident.

I personally had these blades installed on my T-Rex Nitro Pro and have not experienced any failure - but based on what I've read, I have pulled them from service. I would strongly encourage anyone using these blades to do so as well until Align responds with its findings.

Dear Valued Ready Heli Customer:

We've recently been made aware of some safety concerns regarding the Align Carbon Fiber Blades product # H60115.

Ready Heli recommends that you STOP using these blades immediately. Due to our commitment to stand behind the products we sell, we would like to take this opportunity to offer a FREE exchange of the Align Carbon Fiber blades you have recently purchased from us.

Please understand that this is an offer made by Ready Heli and not Align, Align USA or any other party. The manufacturer or distributor may or may not decide to replace, refund, or warranty these blades to you directly outside of our offer and accepting these replacements may void that opportunity via those channels.

The blades you return will be replaced with RCP Carbon Fiber Blades in a size of your choosing (500, 550, 600 or 325).

Please note this offer is good for 'un-crashed' pairs of blades only.

Our return address is:

Ready Heli
354 Cypress Drive #8
Tequesta, FL 33469

Please contact us for an RMA#.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 561-575-1118 or Align USA at 562-598-4700

Thank you,

John Greco

It has been brought to our attention that there may be an issue with the Align CF Blades Part #H60115. In the interest of the safety of our customers, Align has begun an official investigation of these blades. They will be meeting with the manufacturer in the next few days and will release an official statement with the results as soon as possible.

In the meantime, after some initial investigations it appears that the batch of blades with the serial number beginning with “FG” may have a manufacturer defect. Anyone who owns a set of blades with this serial number is advised to not fly them. In addition, anyone who wishes to return these blades may do so if, and ONLY IF the serial number starts with these letters. The serial number can be found on the top of the box that the blades are packaged in, and also on the under side of the blades themselves, at t he trailing edge where the blade begins to curve.

Assurance R/C and Align strive to provide the highest quality of products to our customers and will continue to take the necessary measures to uphold these standards. We are all taking this issue very seriously and will do our best to provide a solution immediately.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We appreciate your continued support of Assurance R/C and all of the Align products.

Best Regards,

Kyna Veatch

This is really good news. Glad to see both the retail and manufacturing levels of the industry responding with prudent concern over safety.

I hit the ground with my first heli, a caliber 30 with wood blades and even the metal that flew out from that put a dent in our shed over 10m away
